  1. I found out about your book via nomnompaleo. Ordered it and tried the rosemary chicken tonight. Very easy and very tasty! Thumbs up!

  2. It’s only been a couple weeks since I found out about my gluten intolerance as well as the egg, dairy, soy issues. Stumbled upon your cookbook on Amazon; got it last night and LOVE it! I love all the pictures and so many of the items seem fairly simple to put together. I’m really appreciating the tips on how to make things ahead and freeze for use later in the week. Thanks so much for all your hard work on this!

  3. Thank you. Appreciate your suggestions re: high altitude tweaks. Also, your explanation of potato starch vs tapioca starch instantly fixed issues I’ve had with recipes from other authors .

  4. Dear Tammy, I just got your book on the mail! I know there are so many people waiting for me to start cooking from it, mainly bake goodies and ice creams. See a pattern there :)- I can smell them with my eyes. They look delicious.
I wonder if you have kept your ice cream for several days on the freezer or you always consume it the day you make it. With recipes I have tried in the past, the first day are smooth with a nice consistency but the following day are iced and crystallized. I am already looking forward to getting your second book.

    • Hi Luisa! Yes, as usual, my homemade ice cream isn’t quite as creamy and soft after freezing, as it is the first day you make it. We usually don’t have leftovers and if we do, I freeze them in ice-pop molds for the kiddos and they don’t seem to mind the firmness this way. Adding the traditional eggs to the recipe can help keep the creamy texture, but that’s not a lot of help for those who can’t have eggs. I guess you could say this is permission to eat the whole container! 🙂

  5. My better half was just diagnosed with so many food allergies it was mind boggling. After this past year of strange illnesses and now allergies it was just a blow that seemed insurmountable. But I did 2 days worth of research and found this amazing book. You made me laugh you made me drool. Today I spent 4 hours cooking and am just ecstatic! The short rib dinner amazing. The double chocolate cookie….SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!!!! I even made the hash for breakfast!!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!! With a tear down the cheek you made this easy and exciting!! Thank you!!
