School’s Out – Random Giveaway!!!

**Congratulations Jade Sheldon!  You are the winner of a signed copy of The Gluten Free Asian Kitchen!!**

Today is the last day of school for my kiddos, which means SUMMER VACATION!!  Woohoo!  To celebrate the official kick-off to summer I feel a give-away is in order!!  I also felt like a drink was in order, but it’s still morning, so first things first.

Today I have the pleasure of giving away a SIGNED copy of Laura B. Russell’s unique gluten free cookbook, The Gluten-Free Asian Kitchen!!  This book is a nice addition to any gluten free kitchen, since Asian foods at restaurants are typically off limits to those with food allergies.  And while the book is not paleo/grain free and contains soy in some recipes, it is always nice to have a great resource for making your own Asian cuisine while controlling the ingredients you use.  Most recipes can be made soy free very easily and would make a fantastic splurge every so often, without the worry of unknown ingredients you’d get at most Asian restaurants.

I’ve know Laura for a short while via the web but I was fortunate enough to finally meet her face to face at the Portland, OR Gluten Free Food Fair last month.  And was I happy to discover that the friendly & supportive person I’d conversed with online was just as wonderful, and funny, in person!  You never know these days. (Just kidding Laura!)

Let’s keep things nice and simple – hey, it’s summer, I don’t want to worry about rules!  To enter, simply comment on this post by 5pm PST this Friday, June 15th.  That’s it.    I will announce the winner later that evening!  Have fun and good luck!
